Adventures on the Amalfi Coast

I haven't always wanted to go to the Amalfi Coast. I honestly didn't even know what/where it was until Jay Z dropped the lyric "it's humorous to me, they watching, we just yachting, hoppin off the Amalfi Coast" in Beyonce's "Upgrade U"  After I heard that lyric, I googled the Amalfi Coast because if I figured if Jay and Bey frequented this place, it's probably pretty magical.

72 Hours in Santorini

Santorini is beautiful and romantic destination that tops many travel bucket lists, so I was elated when I included Santorini in our Honeymoon plans.  Like I mentioned in my previous post about our time in Athens, you'll definitely need more than a few days in Greece. Of all the destinations within our honeymoon trip, we spent the most time in Santorini. I chose this purposefully because I knew we wanted to end the trip in a place with no agenda and full of relaxation.

Thirtysomething

I've officially entered my thirties and it doesn't feel like what I thought thirty was supposed to feel like. When I entered my twenties, I envisioned that thirty would feel like a high powered job, a husband and a couple of kids, and the random "Sex in the City"- esque nights out with my friends. I was cool with that.  Instead, my 30 looks like a decent job and netflix and chill most nights with my new husband. I'm also cool with that.  Because my twenties taught me a lot of things, but one of the most important lessons I learned was that life has plans that may or may not correlate with my own plans. I can either sulk and complain about it (which I did), or I can adjust, adapt and continue moving forward (which I've most recently decided to start doing.) That seems to be working out better for me.
